How does Microneedling work?
Microneedling delivered in any of the methods available is essentially, a form of controlled trauma to the skin and capable of generating a years worth of depleted collagen after just one session!
The micro needling head is covered in tiny needles which create micro channels, which we drench in nutrient rich, problem targeting Mesoestetic serums, which thanks to the microchannels, reach the dermal layer of the skin. These channels spontaneously close after 10 minutes so that the protective epidermal barrier remains in tact, allowing the skin to retain the hydration delivered and prevent infection.
Meanwhile deeper below the skins surface, the bodies response to heal and release vital growth factors, which in turn lead to the production of new collagen, elastin and production hyarulonic acid, whilst encouraging cell renewal and cell repair at the dermal layer, improving skin texture, firming and hydrating, reducing scars, tightening the appearance of enlarged pores, reducing pigmentation and problematic skin issues.

All Micro needling treatment's at SKN Lab Aesthetics are administered either using Pharmaceutical grade Mesoestetic serums or PRP and finished as standard with a gel mask and moisturising SPF to cool and calm your skin.
Meso therapy is slightly more targeted to specific areas using tiny needles to inject concern specific meso serums or Platelet Rich Plasma.

What is Meso Therapy?
Meso therapy is a French rejuvenation technique, where micro bolus injections of vitamins, enzymes, antioxidants and hyarulonic acid are delivered into the superficial epidermis to tighten and rejuvenate the skin.
